The Harvey Bay Region Tour - 4th September 2011 - 5 Day/4 Night Tour
A 5 Day/4 Night tour to Hervey Bay, taking in Fraser Island, Bundaberg, Childers and Maryborough.
Sunday
Leave Stanthorpe around 7am
Travel through to Fernvale to visit the Markets and Morning tea which will be at the Tea Hall.
We will then travel across to Montville & Maleny for shopping and Lunch (Lunch will be at own expense)
After lunch we will travel onto Harvey Bay and to the Kondari Resort, this will be our home for Four Nights.
Freshen up before dinner which will be at the RSL at Hervey Bay
Morning Tea, Dinner included
Monday
After Breakfast we will leave at 8.00am and travel through to visit Bundaberg
Our first visit will be to the Bundaberg Brewed Drinks (ginger beer etc) with tastings, and a Three D Show
Then onto the Bargara Berry Farm for tasting
Lunch will be 1928 Cafe at the Botanic Gardens, after Lunch we will visit the Hinkler Hall of Aviation and Fairymead house.
Travel back to Childers for tour and ice cream at Mammino’s
Back home in time to freshen up for dinner which will be at Don’s Italian Restaurant

Tuesday
Today after breakfast we will be taken on tour of Fraser Island which
Will include Lunch,and all the Islands Highlights
Dinner tonight will be at the Resort

Wednesday
After Breakfast we will travel onto Maryborough to explore
We will be met and will have a guided day tour, this will include morning tea, (Lunch will be a bque on the Mary River)
Arrive back in Hervey Bay around 5pm
Dinner tonight at the Wheelhouse Restaurant
Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch, & Dinner
Thursday
After Breakfast we will leave Hervey Bay to travel back to Brisbane
Travel across to Maryborough to the Street Markets
Lunch will be at Caloundra RSL Club
Arrive back into Stanthorpe around 6.00pm

The cost of the above tour is $980.00 per person double or Twin-share
Single Supplement would be an extra $40 per night Total of $1180
A non refundable deposit of $250.00 per person is required, and the final will be due two weeks prior to departure. We strongly recommend Travel insurance against any cancellations.

Sunday
6am Leave Stanthorpe travel down the Coast to Murwillumbah
Morning tea will be on the way
Lunch at the House with no Steps at Alstonville
Travel down to Yamba
Our Accommodation will be at Aston Motel in Yamba for 5 nights
Dinner tonight will be at Yamba Bowls Club.
Morning Tea, Lunch & Dinner included
Monday
After Breakfast we will travel down to Coff’s Harbour
The Butterfly House will be our first stop with a tour and morning tea
The Big Banana after this for a Tour and lunch
Then onto the Carobana Confectionery Co
We will also visit the Clog Barn for (a little touch of Holland)
Then onto the Botanic Gardens in Coff’s Harbour
Dinner tonight will be at the Ocean Front Brasserie in Coff’s Harbour
Back to Yamba
Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch & Dinner included
Tuesday
After Breakfast this morning a leisurely drive down through Maclean to Grafton
Travel out to Nymboida Station Inn for a tour and lunch
Then back into Grafton City
We will then take a drive around Grafton
Dinner at the McLean Hotel
We will then head back to Yamba
Breakfast, Morning tea, Lunch & Dinner included
Wednesday
After Breakfast we will travel around Yamba & Maclean for a tour
We will then board the Clarence River Ferries for a lunch time cruise
We will be on the Clarence River for about Two hours
We can spend a bit of time relaxing in Yamba
Dinner tonight will be at the Pacific Hotel which overlooks the Ocean

Thursday
We will leave Yamba travelling through Grafton to Glen Innes
Morning tea on way, we will have free time in Glen Innes
We will then travel through to Tenterfield and do lunch at Kurrajong Winery
We can also do The Bramble Patch on the way back to Stanthorpe
Arrive back into Stanthorpe around 4.30pm
The Cost of the above tour is $880.00 per person Double or Twin-share
Single Supplement is $1050.00 for the above.
We would require a $200.00 per person non refundable deposit on confirmation on tour and the final balance two weeks prior to travel. We would also recommend Travel Insurance against cancellations.
